Baptism - Philip Mauro (1859-1952)

Baptism - its place and  importance in Christianity, with a letter concerning household Baptism (written in 1914).The author having been asked for information from various quarters on the subject of baptism, felt constrained to study only what the scriptures said on the matter, as there were many different opinions even amongst Christians about it.  His quest for light on this subject has proven to be exceeedingly interesting and profitable. With prayerful meditation on the scriptures reffered to, he assures the reader that it will be advantageous, at the very least, to bring to their minds "those things which are most surely believed among us."
